Thank you for using CalX. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, especially when you authorize CalX to access your Google Account (including Gmail and Google Calendar data).
1. Information We Collect
- Basic account information: such as your email address and user ID.
- Email metadata: including sender, recipient, subject line, and timestamp.
- Email content (optional): only if authorized, to support features such as reading, viewing, or searching emails.
- Google Calendar data: such as event titles, times, attendees, and meeting links, used to display and manage meetings.
2. Use of Google APIs
- CalX integrates with Google’s Gmail API and Calendar API to provide:
- Accessing and displaying Gmail emails and metadata
- Searching and reading email messages
- Retrieving and displaying your Google Calendar meetings and joining links

- To display your Gmail emails and related metadata
- To provide you with a fast and reliable email reading experience
- To display and manage upcoming Google Calendar meetings
- To improve application performance and user experience
- For troubleshooting or support (only with user-initiated contact and consent)
4. Data Storage and Protection
- CalX does not store your Gmail or Calendar data on our servers. All data access is performed in real-time via the APIs or temporarily on your device.
- The app accesses your data only while you are actively using it and does not retain persistent access.
- We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data, including OAuth 2.0 authorization and HTTPS encryption.

- You can manage permissions at any time via your Google Account permissions page.
- Uninstalling the app will stop all access to your Gmail and Calendar data.
- If you wish to have any logs or support data deleted, please contact us.
